    Job description

    GPI Geospatial, Inc. is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Accounting Assistant to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This position plays a key role in supporting the financial operations of the branch by providing accounting assistance, accounts payable support, and project financial reporting for multiple departments.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide accounting and administrative support to the Geospatial division.
    • Process and manage accounts payable transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Assist with project financial reporting, billing support, and cost tracking.
    • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
    • Support multiple departments with financial and administrative needs.
    • Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, agency representatives, and internal staff.
    • Assist with special projects and other accounting-related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
    • Prior accounting, bookkeeping, or accounts payable experience preferred.
    • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
    • Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language
    • Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to
    • communicate with other team members
