Eurolysine is seeking a commercially driven, customer-focused sales professional to develop and manage an assigned geographical territory within the animal nutrition and feed industry. This position is designed for a proactive business developer able to combine field sales execution, key account management, distributor development, market intelligence and long-term customer relationship management.
Working in close collaboration with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Technical, Regulatory and Finance teams, the successful candidate will contribute directly to sustainable growth, profitability and customer satisfaction, in line with Eurolysine’s CSR commitments and performance culture.
Your mission
You will be responsible for developing sales, margin and market share within your territory by identifying new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with existing customers, managing key accounts and distributors, and ensuring disciplined execution of the commercial plan.
Key responsibilities
- Deploy the sales strategy and commercial objectives across the assigned territory.
- Identify, qualify and develop new customers and profitable business opportunities.
- Promote, recommend, negotiate and conclude value-based commercial offers and solutions.
- Build and develop long-term relationships with customers, key accounts, distributors and agents.
- Apply pricing, contractual and margin policies with rigor and discipline.
- Prepare sales forecasts and contribute to commercial planning and S&OP processes.
- Monitor territory performance, including sales, volumes, margins and key performance indicators.
- Maintain accurate CRM data and provide reliable reporting to management.
- Track market trends, customer needs, feed industry dynamics and competitor activity.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure contract execution, customer satisfaction, claim resolution and timely payment collection.
Your profile
- Master’s degree in business, sales, agriculture, animal nutrition or an equivalent field.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in B2B field sales, ideally in animal nutrition, feed, feed additives, ingredients, agribusiness or a related sector.
- Solid understanding of the animal nutrition and feed value chain, including key players, customer segmentation and buying processes.
- Strong commercial fundamentals, including pricing logic, margin management, Incoterms, contracts and negotiation.
- Ability to manage a sales territory independently and prioritize high-value opportunities.
- Proven ability to build trusted customer relationships and negotiate while preserving long-term partnerships.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with operational, technical and financial teams.
- Strong communication, active listening, autonomy, organization and time management skills.
- Fluent professional English; Dutch, German as another European language would be an advantage.
