YOUR ROLE

As a Chassis Mechanic, you will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on the GT Group fleet in a timely and efficient manner by diagnosing issues identified during inspections and carrying out the necessary repairs.

Responsabilities:

You will contribute to the truck maintenance team by performing, among others, the following tasks:

• Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services on chassis and trailers, including inspections, brake work, electrical repairs, tire changes, etc.
• Perform diagnostics, preventive repairs, and scheduled repairs.
• Test systems and components to isolate faults.
• Notify the Shift Supervisor of any additional repairs required.
• Operate and move equipment in and out of the maintenance facility for repairs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar work environment.
• Minimum intermediate-to-advanced level of French.
• Known for your problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and ability to work within a diverse and dynamic team.
• Well organized with a strong sense of punctuality.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
