GT Independence is a national, financial management services (FMS) leader supporting Medicaid home and community-based services (HCBS) and self-direction programs across the country. As we scale, we are investing in an Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) that brings execution discipline, transparency, and measurable value to every strategic initiative we take on.
The project manager will
- Lead cross-functional projects from initiation through closure, following established EPMO protocols and PMI-aligned methodologies (waterfall, agile, hybrid).
- Coordinate with executive sponsors, subject-matter experts, operations, IT, finance, compliance, and external partners to ensure deliverables are completed on time and on budget.
- Support new state and contract launches by managing readiness activities, training coordination, vendor integration, and go-live execution.
- Identify workflow bottlenecks and champion process improvements through change requests and standardized SOPs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of progressive project management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong working knowledge of PMI's PMBOK-based methodology; PMP certification or relevant experience preferred.
- Proficiency with project management platforms such as Monday.com, Smartsheet, Microsoft Planner, Microsoft Project, or Jira.
