As a Plumbing Estimator you will be expected to prepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. What Will You Be Earning?
- Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year.
- Compensation is determined by hiring managers and is based on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, and the specific demands of the role.
What Are We Looking For?
- Prepare accurate and detailed plumbing estimates and proposals for commercial and/or industrial projects.
- Attend pre-bid meetings, scope reviews, and client meetings as required.
- Review and interpret project plans, specifications, drawings, and related documents to develop comprehensive estimates.
- Develop project-specific estimating strategies and approach plans.
- Perform material takeoffs, labor analysis, and labor factor adjustments using estimating software.
- Build and maintain estimating assemblies and databases within estimating systems.
- Coordinate with general contractors, architects, engineers, clients, and internal teams throughout the bidding process.
- Solicit and evaluate competitive pricing from vendors and subcontractors, ensuring all project requirements and addenda are communicated accurately.
- Maintain strong relationships with local suppliers and industry partners.
- Provide guidance and support in the training and development of team members.
- Ensure estimates are completed accurately, competitively, and within required deadlines.
