Community Department Manager

We're looking for a Community Department Manager to lead our New York community strategy, bringing our brand to life through meaningful partnerships, unforgettable events, and authentic connections that inspire people to unlock their potential.

• Own and deliver the community strategy across NYC, ensuring alignment with Gymshark's brand vision and business goals.
• Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with gyms, fitness studios, ambassadors, athletes, influencers and community partners.
• Plan and execute a calendar of events, activations and experiences that drive awareness, engagement and customer connection.
• Collaborate closely with Store Managers and cross-functional teams to create locally relevant community initiatives that support commercial performance.
• Identify opportunities to grow Gymshark's presence within existing and emerging fitness communities.
• Leverage insights, feedback and performance data to continuously improve community engagement and event effectiveness.
• Act as a passionate brand ambassador, ensuring every interaction reflects Gymshark's values and mission.

• Experience in community management, partnerships, events, brand marketing, retail engagement or a related field
• A proven ability to build authentic relationships and create meaningful community connections.
• Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to connect community activity with measurable business outcomes.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging audiences both internally and externally.
• A proactive, self-starting mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A genuine passion for fitness, wellbeing and creating experiences that inspire others.
• Flexibility to travel across the region and support events outside of standard business hours when required.
