Hagadone Media Montana is seeking a motivated, customer-focused professional for a hybrid Customer Service and Sales role. This position blends supporting subscribers with driving circulation growth through outreach and relationship building. Based in Kalispell, this role reports to the Circulation Office Manager and offers a mix of in-office work and local community engagement.
Position Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Resolve subscription issues including delivery, billing, and account changes
- Manage subscriptions (new, renewals, cancellations, holds) in the circulation system
- Promote and sell subscriptions through calls, email outreach, and in-person events
- Upsell to existing customers and introduce new products and promotions
- Track sales activity, maintain call lists, and report results regularly
- Represent the company at community events, booths, and local outreach opportunities
- Process orders and payments accurately and support general circulation operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional education a plus)
- Experience in customer service and/or sales (media industry experience preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work both independently and on a team
