The Documents Control Specialist is a key member of the Quality department and will work in close collaboration with the Director of Quality, Quality Manager, Production, Marketing, Purchasing, Engineering, etc.
This individual also serves as a document control database superuser for both company sites. This person is the point of contact for management of document control activities in the QMS and Document Control database (DCD), parts and item number creation and product release. Responsible to interact with multiple functions to produce a culture of collaboration that positively impacts quality at Harmar through various quality disciplines that include (but are not limited to) good documentation practices, adherence to SOPs/Work Instructions, Forms and quality system support. in charge of general change processing in DCD, leading CCB, generation of quality reports and proactively recommending improvements, supporting internal auditing and backroom coordination during external audits, supporting document retention process.
