Mechanical Assembler I

Summary/Objective The Mechanical Assembler I is responsible for assembling high-precision products of varying complexity under a more experienced employee's guidance. This person will also be responsible for the quality and quantity of work performed.

Essential Functions

• Under the direction of a more experienced employee, assemble a variety of subassemblies, standard and unique products, using established procedures Accurate fitting, aligning, and adjusting required to very close tolerances or precision fits subject to strict inspection.
• Set up, and test complete products to ensure that units meet specification and customer order requirements Other responsibilities as required.
