The Communications Associate will support outreach around the work of the Center for Labor and a Just Economy’s sponsored programs, as well as core administrative needs of the Center. The Associate will play an integral role in advancing the Center’s programming objectives, which include shaping narratives around progressive labor issues and amplifying research, strategy, and policy recommendations for worker empowerment.
As a Communications Associate, you will:
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Five or more years of related experience in communications, publishing, or related field. Education may count toward experience.

We are looking for people who have:
Appointment End Date: This is a two-year term appointment with potential for renewal, subject to departmental funding and need.
Standard Hours/Schedule: 35 hours per week; Full-time, M-F.

Work Format Details
This position has been determined by school or unit leaders that some of the duties and responsibilities can be effectively performed at a non-Harvard location. The work schedule and location will be set by the department at its discretion and based upon operational needs. When not working at a Harvard or Harvard-designated location, employees in hybrid positions must work in a Harvard registered state in compliance with the University’s Policy on Employment Outside of Massachusetts. Additional details will be discussed during the interview process. Certain visa types and funding sources may limit work location. Individuals must meet work location sponsorship requirements prior to employment.
