HEAD OF OPERATIONS
Job location - Colombo
Job Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership to departmental managers and supervisors, ensuring operational activities align with organizational goals and priorities.
Oversee Hub, Transport, Customer Service, Head Office, and Branch Operations to ensure efficient service delivery and achievement of customer and delivery targets.
Monitor KPIs and operational performance, driving process improvements, cost-saving initiatives, quality enhancements, and operational excellence.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to forecast demand, plan resources and delivery schedules, manage budgets, and optimize costs and profitability.
Ensure compliance and business representation by maintaining regulatory, industry, and safety standards while representing the organization in external forums, industry events, and partnerships.
Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification
Excellent command of the English and Sinhala language
Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar capacity preferably in Logistics industry
Computer literacy with knowledge of MS office packages
Good customer relationships and problem-solving skills.
