Certified Nursing Assistant (SNF Northside) HRC-186

Position Summary

Provides direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Supports patient comfort, safety, and a clean care environment while contributing to quality nursing care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care, mobility, positioning, meals, and other daily needs.
• Obtain and record vital signs, intake/output, weight, height, and other measurements.
• Assist licensed nursing staff with treatments and patient care activities.
• Respond to call lights, make patient rounds, and promptly address patient needs.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges and collect and transport specimens as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and prepared patient rooms and nursing areas.
• Communicate effectively with patients and the healthcare team and participate in care planning.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to perform the physical duties of the position, including positioning and assisting patients.
• CPR certification preferred.

Job Type: Full-Time, Variable Shift

Pay: $26.00-$35.00/hourly
