Account Manager

Title: Account Manager 
Department: Sales 
Reports to: Sales Manager 
Status: Salaried Exempt

Primary Function:
The Account Manager is responsible for growing sales and contact base within their assigned territory by visiting and calling on customers, prospects, and leads in their specialized market. An Account Manager is also responsible for receiving, processing, and recording customer’s orders with interaction with Company team members who support the ordering, delivery, and billing process.

•Preferred bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent education and experience
•Ability to travel minimum of 5 days a quarter
•Possesses 3 – 5 years of consultative sales related experience
•Must have ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint at a high level
•Speaks confidently and articulately in front of a group
•Ability to work independently and as an effective team member
•Demonstrate the ability to think both analytically and creatively
•Possess strong problem-solving skills
•The ability to communicate confidently, clearly, and effectively in front of groups
•Inbound/Outbound phone work: Requires ability to continually sit with frequent hand use and finger dexterity. Continuous ability for near/far vision and hearing.
•Customer Visits, Travel, Trade shows: Frequent standing/walking/lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs. without assistance. Occasional hand use, arm reach; need to kneel/squat. Continuous ability for near/far vision and hearing.
