Job Description: Provides personal care and social/recreation/leisure activities to enhance the physical and emotional well-being of clients/patients/residents.

Experience

• Six (6) months experience in health care

Education

• Continuing Care Assistant certificate (CCA)

Knowledge and Abilities

• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work with special needs clients/patients/residents

• Scheduled hours of work may be reduced when a statutory holiday is recognized
• Applicants must be available for a minimum 16 hours per week, 2 weekends per six-week period, days and evenings, or evenings and nights. If candidate cannot commit to that amount of time, position will not be awarded.
