    • Pay Range: $490006.40 - $849992.00 annually
    • Pay Range Statement: Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role. Pay within our ranges may also be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities as well as internal equity. After the salary guarantee period, this position will be compensated based on work RVU productivity. In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for work RVU productivity bonus.

    HealthPartners is looking for a Critical Care Cardiologist. Being a part of our team means you will be part of a great partnership between cardiology and critical care medicine.

    As a Critical Care Cardiologist, you will be part of the largest multi-specialty care system in the Twin Cities.  The position requires board certification/board eligibility in Cardiology and Cardiology Critical Care.  The cardiology department provide a wide range of cardiovascular services, including structural interventional cardiology, electrophysiology and advanced cardiac imaging. We work with a team of three cardiac surgeons supported by 5 APCs.

    The medical critical care department provides patient care at Regions Hospital, a high-volume ELSO center, a nationally recognized Level 1 Trauma Center and teaching hospital. It has been recognized by the US News and World Report and Watson Health Top 15 Health Systems.

    Key Responsibilities include the following:

    • Manage critically ill patients in the CVICU and MICU
    • Perform advanced hemodynamic monitoring including IABP, Impella and ECMO
    • Perform bedside cardiovascular procedures, including TEE, POCUS, pulmonary artery catheter placement and large-bore vascular access.
    • Perform bedside medical critical care procedures including POCUS, pulmonary artery catheter placement and large-bore vascular access.
    • Comanage patients with Cardiothoracic Surgery.
