    • Pay Range: $43.37 - $59.00 hourly
    • Pay Range Statement: Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role. Pay within our ranges may also be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities as well as internal equity. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation based on role (e.g., shift differential, bonus, sales incentive, productivity pay, etc.).
    • Overtime Eligibility Status: Non-Exempt

    POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:
    Performs diagnostic Ultrasound examinations to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician under the direction of a Radiologist. Performs abdominal, retroperitoneal, OB/GYN, small part scans, vascular studies, and ultrasound guided procedures, such as cyst aspirations, breast biopsies, needle or breast seed localizations, and abscess drainages. Must be able to recognize the difference between normal and abnormal images.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    •    Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
    o    Completion of an accredited two year allied health program or two years of college with emphasis on the biological sciences and completion of a formal medical Sonography training program (one-year minimum) or equivalent experience

    •    Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
    o    RDMS(Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) via ARDMS(American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) o    Registered Vascular Technologist/Vascular Technology (RVT/VT) Certification within 180 days of employment via ARDMS or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist) via CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) o    If employment involves Breast Ultrasound, then Breast Certification(BR) via ARDMS required within 180 days of employment.
    o    If employment involves OB Clinic rotation, then OB Certification (OB/GYN) via ARDMS required within 180 days of employment.
    o    Current BLS – American Heart Association or BLS – American Red Cross (CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer & Health Care Provider)

    •    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    o    Ability to answer patient’s questions, helping them to understand the procedure o    Ability to accurately operate and maintain the imaging equipment and recognize the difference between normal and abnormal images

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    •    Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
    o    Minimum of one-year clinical experience in Ultrasound
