Te Mahi | About the Role

As our Client Services Manager, you will be at the heart of delivering exceptional care and support services that make a real difference in people's lives. This dynamic leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives on driving excellence, leading positive change, and empowering high-performing teams. You will inspire and coach a high-performing team to deliver services ranging from everyday home support through to complex, long-term and nursing care.  Your strong operational focus, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement will help shape outstanding outcomes for both clients and staff.

This is a permanent, full-time position of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8.30am to 5.00pm), there will be some flexibility required.

Location: Porirua, Wellington.

Key Responsibilities

• Relationship Management: Build strong, positive relationships with service users and their families, whānau, support workers, co-workers and other health professionals. Work collaboratively to ensure high-quality, person-centered support, while regularly travelling throughout the community to visit service users and maintain strong connections with those you support.
• Recruitment & Retention: Involvement in the recruitment and retention process for support workers, including performance feedback, education, and training.
• Health and Safety: Conduct Health and Safety assessments in the homes of service users to ensure a safe environment for both service users and support workers.
• Roster Management: Coordinate and manage rosters for support workers, ensuring alignment with service user schedules

• Proven experience in service management, operations, or healthcare coordination.

• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and influencing skills.

• Resilience, flexibility, and an appetite for problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must have the right to work legally and permanently in New Zealand.
• A full driver’s licence, your own vehicle, and a clear Police Check.
