PAY: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

HOURS: Monday - Friday | Up to 29 hours per week

Morning Program: 7:30AM - 1:30PM

Afternoon Program: 1:30PM - 6:30PM

SCHEDULE: Flexible scheduling options available

Healthy Kids Programs is looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Early Childhood Learning Teacher Assistant to join our team at Taconic Hills Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year.

As a Teacher Assistant, you'll work alongside our early childhood team to create a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment for children ages 10 months through 3 years old. You'll support classroom activities, daily routines, learning experiences, and positive interactions that help young children learn, grow, and thrive.

A Schedule That Work for You

We offer both morning and afternoon shifts and can provide flexibility based on your availability and program needs.

Prefer a consistent schedule? You can work the same shift on the days you're scheduled. Need more flexibility? We can also work with you to schedule morning shifts on some days and afternoon shifts on others.

Morning Program: 7:30 AM–1:30 PM
Afternoon Program: 1:30 PM–6:30 PM

Position Responsibilities

• Collaborating with the School-Age Childcare Lead to facilitate hands-on activities aligned with the Creative Curriculum, tailored to the unique needs and interests of the children.
• Maintaining regular communication with parents and family members through the Playground App, ensuring transparency and engagement in their child's daily experiences.
• Cultivating positive adult-child interactions utilizing the CLASS method, fostering an environment where every child feels valued and supported.
• Supporting the education, health, welfare, and safety of classroom members and the entire center community by adhering to ECERS/ITERS standards and protocols.
