Our HL Cooks are an integral part of maintaining quality, quantity and service of our house made food program! Our cooks maintain organized, clean and sanitized work areas and equipment while preparing food items for the Hot Bar. Our Hot Bar Cooks create a wide-range of culinary delights from eclectic to classic that include vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and meat-loving options. Hot Bar cooks in our café are leaders and role models for other café staff.
The Ideal Candidate will:
- Go the extra mile for guests and maintain the highest standards of courteous, professional hospitality and sensitivity to the needs of guests and co-workers
- Have previous experience and familiarity working with local, organic products
- Have a culinary degree or extensive cooking and production experience and excellent knife skills
- Have at least 2 years professional kitchen experience
Schedule: Full-Time / Required availability: Saturday-Wednesday: 12p-8p (hours would be during the day for training purposes)
Pay: $17.00-$18.46/hour (previous experience taken into consideration).
