Our iconic brands connect with audiences through trusted journalism, expert advice, and compelling storytelling, creating meaningful experiences across every stage of life.

Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)

    • Assign and top-edit 20–30 digital stories per month, including articles, listicles, and galleries focused on decorating, DIY, cleaning and organizing, entertaining, holidays, and gardening.
    • Collaborate closely with the Home Design Director to ensure content aligns with audience growth, traffic goals, and overall editorial strategy.

    • Ensure all content meets Good Housekeeping's editorial standards for accuracy, quality, voice, and SEO best practices.
    • Mentor and provide thoughtful editorial guidance to freelance and junior writers, helping elevate the quality of published content.
    • Identify timely trends and develop fresh, innovative story ideas that resonate with home and lifestyle audiences.
    • Partner with cross-functional editorial teams to support content planning and execution across digital platforms.

    Qualifications (What We're Looking For)

    • 7+ years of experience producing and editing digital editorial content, preferably covering home, design, lifestyle, or related topics.
    • Demonstrated experience assigning, editing, and publishing high-performing digital content.
    • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with strong attention to detail.
    • Passion for home design, decorating, DIY, gardening, cleaning, and organizing content.
    • Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh ideas and adapt to evolving audience interests.
    • Experience mentoring writers and providing constructive editorial feedback.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
    • This is a remote position.

The hourly pay range for this role is $40.00–$50.00 per hour. This position is not eligible for bonus or commission compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
