In Home Caregiver

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Description: We are seeking a compassionate and driven in-home caregiver to work alongisde one of our various individuals, while also improving their quality of life. 

Notes: The individual requires assistance with transferring to their mobility chair/wheelchair, assistance with meals, transport to doctor's appointments/community engagement, and cleaning of their apartment. The client can make decisions/administer medications for themself, with sometimes just needing assistance putting the pills into a cup. The client is in need of a reliable, engaging staff who will be attentive throughout the shift. 

A reliable vehicle is required for this position. 

Qualifications

• Valid NJ Non-Probationar Driver's License
• High school diploma or equivalent 
• CPR/FA certification if completed
• Minimum one year of experience working in a group home setting with those with developmental disabilities
• Must have own vehicle and valid car insurance to drive client into the community
