What You'll Be Doing
- Safely operate a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete to customer job sites on schedule.
- Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections to support safe and reliable operations.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, plant personnel, and customers to coordinate deliveries.
- Monitor concrete quality during transport and delivery while following operational procedures.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and support a clean, safe work environment.
What Are We Looking For
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and ability to operate heavy vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and customer service excellence.
- Ability to perform vehicle inspections, identify concerns, and take appropriate action.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with customers and team members.
- Dependable, self-motivated individual who can adapt to changing priorities and work demands.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
What We Offer
- $30.00 - $39.70 per hour (NYS Prevailing Wage)
