SAP HR - Payroll Consultant

Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: 6 months
Work setup: Hybrid (2 days per week in office)
Clearance required: BPSS (SC eligibility would be an advantage)

Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a SAP HR - Payroll Consultant to design, build, and support SAP HCM and Payroll solutions for a flagship account. Working as part of an established team within a broader SAP practice, this role will deliver quality solutions across a substantial, multi-tiered SAP technical estate while collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and client stakeholders.

What you will do:

• Operate as part of the existing HCM and Payroll Team within a large SAP practice.
• Work within a multi-supplier environment to deliver projects and resolve live service issues.
• Investigate, design, and configure SAP Payroll and HCM solutions according to industry best practices.
• Prepare quality documentation artefacts, including Solution Documents, Functional Specifications, WRICEFs, and related materials.
• Collaborate with experienced onshore and offshore team members while reporting to a Team Lead.
• Estimate work and provide delivery estimates for assigned activities.
• Support and liaise closely with corresponding client teams to resolve issues, provide solutions, and offer support to meet contractual obligations.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Apply technical expertise to influence the design and enhancement of SAP HCM and Payroll solutions.
• Contribute to hands-on delivery across projects and live service support environments.
• Support ongoing digital transformation initiatives and the evolution of the client's SAP estate.

• Possess seasoned SAP Payroll consulting experience with hands-on delivery across multiple projects and Live Support environments, ideally including Public Sector experience.
• Demonstrate strong functional HCM expertise across Payroll at expert level, Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Self-Services, Time Management, Travel Management, SuccessFactors, and Country Legal Changes.
• Demonstrate broader technical awareness across Workflow, ABAP, BASIS, Portals, Security, Integration, UI5, and related SAP technologies.
• Bring a collaborative, innovative, and open-minded approach with a passion for change and dynamic teamwork.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for SAP's roadmap and awareness of leading technologies including SuccessFactors, Cloud Analytics, Concur, S/4HANA, and BTP.
• Possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively across onshore, offshore, client, and multi-supplier environments.
