A lovely family in Brossard seeks an occasional babysitter for their 13 month old, for an immediate start. Backup care is needed 1-3 times per month on weekdays from 2:00 PM-5:00 PM. The family is also open to candidates who are available from 8:30 AM-11:00 AM instead of the afternoon shift. The child is active, curious, and enjoys reading and listening to music. The family has a friendly cat in the home; no pet care is required. Those applying do not need to be available for all of the family's requests, but should understand that there are no guaranteed hours for this position. The ideal candidate is a reliable, trustworthy, and engaging caregiver who enjoys creating age-appropriate activities and providing attentive care for toddlers.

- Light meal preparation for the child
- Minimum of 2 years of paid professional toddler care experience
- CPR certified, or willingness to become certified
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Able to provide 2 childcare-related references from a professional setting
- Able to successfully clear a background and social media screening
- Must have valid photo ID for verification purposes
- Must be fluent in both English and Arabic
This position pays $30 CAD per hour, and the family is looking for occasional care.
