NRP-IN Production
The Production Technician is responsible for executing assigned operation duties on the production floor. This position ensures compliance with all HACCP and PVP programs. The Production Technician is responsible for obtaining the highest level of efficiency, while ensuring a safe work environment in accordance with OSHA guidelines.
DUTIES
- Responsible for production duties and all duties related to production
- Responsible for written documentation of production activities that occur on the days or night shift
- Ensure that production goals are met safely and timely.
- Loading and unloading of trucks
- Responsible for all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Climbing ladders up to 45 feet
- Lifting minimum of 50 pounds
- Constant activities of work environment include balancing, bending/stooping, reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, pulling a resistance of 20 pounds
- Frequent activities of work environment pushing, pulling, climbing, shoveling
- Occasional crawling
- Exposure to animal dander, dust, sulfite allergens
- Exposure to constant loud noise
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma, or equivalent certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, inclusive of the ability to interact and work well with others
- Ability to keep accurate records
- Computer skills
