GENERAL SUMMARY: As a Cook at Henry's Cafe, you'll be the heart of our kitchen—crafting delicious, nutritious meals that nourish our patients and delight our cafeteria guests. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare high-quality hot meals that meet nutritional and dietary requirements for patient care and cafeteria service
• Lead menu planning initiatives that balance nutrition, patient preferences, and operational efficiency
• Oversee and coordinate job assignments, ensuring smooth kitchen operations and team collaboration
• Maintain exceptional food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring compliance with all health regulations
• Mentor and support kitchen team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
• Manage food inventory and preparation processes to minimize waste while maximizing quality

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:**

• High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent (the foundation is important!)
• At least one year of hands-on cooking experience OR a Culinary Program graduation under your belt
• **Bonus points:** Five (5) years of kitchen experience—but don't worry if you're just getting started!
