What You Will Do:
- Master the art of phlebotomy – Perform specimen collection for at least 25% of your scheduled hours and become the go-to expert patients trust (even if they're a little nervous about needles!).
- Keep specimens moving – Process and transport laboratory specimens and materials with precision and care, ensuring nothing gets lost in the shuffle.
- Run point of care tests like a pro – Conduct testing and enter orders accurately, keeping the lab running smoothly and efficiently.
- Be the friendly face – Interact with patients, caregivers, and lab staff with genuine professionalism and a customer-first mindset that makes everyone's day a little better.
- Handle all ages with confidence – Demonstrate safety and proficiency when collecting specimens from patients of all ages, from tiny tots to seasoned seniors.
- Follow the playbook – Stick to established procedures while maintaining a courteous, customer-focused approach that keeps our patients smiling.
Required Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum six months of phlebotomy experience
