    Role Overview

    As a Medical Assistant, you play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of quality and compassionate care to our patients. You will work under the direct supervision of providers and nursing leadership, performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks to support patient care. Your contributions are essential in creating a positive and efficient healthcare experience for our patients.

    What You Will Do

    • Greet and escort patients to the exam room, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment.
    • Obtain and document accurate medical histories from patients.
    • Measure and record vital signs, contributing to comprehensive patient assessments.
    • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and readiness.
    • Assist providers during examinations and procedures, facilitating efficient and effective patient care.

    What You Will Need

    Required Qualifications

    • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
    • Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160-hour minimum), or equivalent experience as outlined in the job description.
    • Current BLS-C certification upon hire or successful completion by the end of orientation.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
    • EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) experience.
