Role Overview

As a Medical Assistant, you¿ll play a vital role in delivering quality and compassionate care to our patients. Working under the supervision of providers and nursing leadership, you¿ll perform administrative and clinical tasks to ensure a seamless patient experience. Your contributions will directly support providers during examinations and procedures, making a meaningful impact on patient care.

What You Will Do

• Greet and escort patients to exam rooms, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Obtain and record accurate medical histories and vital signs.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Assist providers during clinical procedures and examinations.
• Perform administrative tasks to support the clinical team and patient care.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160-hour minimum), or
  • Graduate without externship but with one year of clinical medical assisting experience within the past five years, or
  • Current professionally recognized Medical Assistant certification with one year of experience, or
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or
  • Licensed Paramedic/EMT with one year of clinical experience within the past five years, or
  • Military-trained medical personnel with one year of clinical experience within the past five years.
• Current BLS-C upon hire or successful completion by end of orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
• EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) experience.
