    Job description

    • Gastroenterology/Endoscopy - Novi - Columbus Medical Building
    • Contingent - Minimum of 36 hours per 6 week schedule. 8 hour shifts with possibility to work 10 hours. Monday-Friday. No Weekends, Holidays or On-Call required.
    • This position is in a Procedural Area.
    • Candidate Preferences:  Minimum of 1 year ambulatory or inpatient experience required (will consider Nurse Tech/MA experience). Strong IV skills preferred. Ability to multitask in fast paced Endoscopy Unit.

    Role Overview

    As a Registered Nurse at Henry Ford Health, you will provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizing the nursing process, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients and their families. Your role is critical in ensuring effective communication with the healthcare team and finding solutions to meet patient goals.

    What You Will Do

    • Lead the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.
    • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
    • Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families.
    • Communicate pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team.
    • Participate in finding and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.

    CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

    What You Will Need

    Required Qualifications

    • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
    • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
    • Health care provider certification (BCLS).

    Preferred Qualifications

    • BSN preferred.
