Registered Nurse - Med Surg - Acute Rehab Unit

Full Time Day Shift (72 hours bi-weekly) w/ every 3rd weekend. 

• 5% Market Pay Differential
• $2 Weekend Differential
• Sign On Bonus Eligible
• Schedule:  Part-Time 7am - 7:30pm Monday thru Friday & every 3rd weekend

Acute Rehab is a 20 bed unit. Rehab focus.

What You Will Do:

• Coordinate a multi-disciplinary plan of care to ensure appropriate length of stay, resource use, and quality outcomes.
• Provide patient care that respects individual rights, dignity, values, and cultural preferences.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, safety measures, and self-care.
• Administer medications, IVs, and blood products according to established policies.
• Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with case managers to ensure appropriate referrals and discharge plans.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• Certified BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date, or Certified Instructor.
• Graduate of an approved professional (RN) nursing program.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
• Specialization in a relevant clinical area (e.g., medical-surgical, critical care).
