    Role Overview

    As a Registered Nurse, you will provide compassionate, patient-centered care by leading the coordination and delivery of nursing services. You will support patients and their families through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans. Your role is vital in ensuring high-quality care, effective communication with the healthcare team, and finding solutions to meet patient goals.

    SCHEDULE: Full Time, 40 hours per week, 5 days with some flexibility with scheduling, no weekends nor holidays

    LOCATION: Henry Ford Providence Southfield Hospital

    What You Will Do

    • Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering compassionate patient care.
    • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
    • Delegate, supervise, and document nursing care and patient/family education.
    • Communicate pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team.
    • Participate in identifying and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.

    What You Will Need

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • BSN preferred. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
    • Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
    • Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
    • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

    CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE REQUIRED:

    • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
    • Health care provider certification (BCLS).
    • Wound Care Certification, Ostomy Certification or WOCN.

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

    • Prefer one year minimum of Inpatient Wound Care hospital experience
