Summary:
The coordinator’s responsibilities are to help oversees the operations of production and packaging of the different manufacturing facilities of the company. The focus of this position is to Improve performance and efficiency through implementation of effective strategies, ensure a smooth run of daily operations, mitigate and fix any issues.

Job Duties:
- Help oversees the production and packaging planning operations.
- Ensure quality products are consistently and efficiently produced and packaged to meet the clients and consumers commitments.
- Work closely with the Health & Safety Committee Chair to promote safety through work procedures, and employee safety programs to prevent any incidents, near-misses, and accidents.
- Ensure that standard operating procedures are implemented and adhered to consistently.
- Help manage production cost, labour utilization, waste, line efficiencies, and raw material usages.
- Align with other planners to optimize equipment usage to improve operational performance and maximize production efficiency standards for labor and raw materials.
- Help coordinate with all departments to work together towards company’s short and long-term goals.
- Help oversee the assessment of production and packaging staff to identify development needs.
- Participate in budget process to develop and maintain standard product costs.
- Help develop operations risk assessment, including mitigation activities and action plans.
- Prioritizes sustainability and the environment when engaged in business relations
- Any other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in planning management of manufacturing facilities.
- Highly motivated, ability to work independently, as well as being a strong team player.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- Fluent English (reading/speaking/writing).
- Ability to perform under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly flexible, with good interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
This is a full-time Monday - Friday, in office role. Some travel to our other Richmond Locations is required on occasion.
