SUMMARY:
Responsible for obtaining consignments of fine timepieces, including antique pocket watches, vintage wristwatches, and high-end modern watches

$75,000 - $125,000 (Commensurate based on experience). ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Source quality consignments from private collectors, trade dealers and retailers Ensure property is authenticated and evaluate condition when estimating Negotiate consignor terms under company guidelines Create and proofread catalog descriptions and marketing materials Market specific consignments to valued clients Review settlements and wires Attend trade shows and conventions to obtain consignments, develop strategic partnerships, and evaluate the current marketplace Assist with processing incoming consignments Ensure accuracy of details in consignment paperwork Proactively follow up on pending requests and outstanding issues Assist with gallery previews on and off-site Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager
