    Job Title: Senior Editor
    About the Job:
    As a Senior Editor, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring quality and accuracy across editorial functions, including editing, fact-checking, and proofreading, while meeting deadlines and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You'll bring your meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and organizational expertise to master complex brand specifics and manage multiple assignments, driving editorial excellence and precision in our healthcare marketing agency.
    A Day in the Life:
    Provide high-level editing support for complex brands, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to brand style and regulatory guidelines.
    Conduct thorough proofreading, copy editing, and fact-checking to ensure error-free and high-quality deliverables, utilizing digital routing tools and technological solutions.
    Demonstrate strong brand stewardship, becoming proficient in assigned account specifics, generating and updating style guides, and enforcing regulatory guidelines.
    Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including account teams, copywriters, and designers, to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery.
    Provide mentorship and training to less-experienced editors, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance team capabilities.
    Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail, ensuring timely completion of administrative duties and alerting management when backup coverage is needed.
    What you need:
    Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or related field, with 3+ years of editorial experience in pharmaceutical advertising or a related industry.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong command of the English language, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
    Strong knowledge of medical terminology, FDA pharmaceutical advertising regulations, and AMA guidelines, with proficiency in digital documents, routing systems, and Microsoft Office.
    Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects, work efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    A learning mindset, with a commitment to professional growth and development, and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
    A strong work ethic, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
    

$70,000-90,000

    Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
