Medior Data Pipeline Engineer

Responsibilities

• Managing and migrating ETL pipelines between various source systems
• Validating pipeline build success and output data quality
• Communicating with business stakeholders and SME's regarding their respective data domain
• Analysing and resolving any blockers/issues with the ETL pipelines and data discrepancies Working closely with the other team members to ensure best practices and know-hows are kept up to date
• Supporting data migration activities across various systems and platforms
• Providing operational support within the Snowflake environment
• Documenting and tracking work handed over

Requirements

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in data, ETL, data migration, or a similar role
• 2-3 years of hands-on SQL knowledge.
• at least 1-2 year of experience with Python
• Proven track record of working with Pandas and/or pySpark
• Hands on experience with current AI chat and coding tools
• Advanced Excel skills
• Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and switch effectively between tasks.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake / Dataiku / Impala / db2.
• Multinational company experience
• Experience with modern data engineering stack: dbt, Airflow, Databricks or other relevant technologies

Working model

• Hybrid working model: 3 days on-site and 2 days working from home each week.
• Once every two weeks, you will work adjusted hours aligned with the New York time zone to support business operations.
