Pay Range: The expected annual base salary range for this role is CAD $60,000 - $80,000 DOE
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Manufacturing, the Food Scientist is responsible for the research and development of new cannabis consumer products for adult use, with a focus on beverage and chocolate products.
As a Food Scientist, you will act as a technical lead on projects and drive the commercialization of edible cannabis products from formulation development to scale up and commercial manufacturing.
This role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders such as marketing, operations, supply chain, quality, and any applicable third-party agencies. The Food Scientist supports all activities required to develop, optimize and scale-up a stable and robust formulation to make it suitable for commercial production, adhering to correct procedures and health and safety guidelines.
