Report: Snr Civil Engineer / Construction Manager
Responsibilities
- Understanding the construction plan of the project.
- Determining the time constraints to complete the job.
- Identifying the raw material and manpower required.
- Ensuring the raw materials used are as per specifications.
- Supervising along with the contractor the construction site.
- Managing daily activities on the site.
- Ensuring the subcontractors are following the blueprints.
- Working in collaboration with Engineers, Architects, Contractors, and other team members.
- Coming up with technical solutions for problems that are causing a delay in the projects.
- Maintaining the documentation of the construction projects.
- Filing documents to the local jurisdiction as and when required.
- Adhering to all the environmental and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma-holding and/or degree-holding engineers
- Minimum five (5) years of construction-site experience, of which at least two (2) years must be on construction sites for natural gas pipeline projects or natural gas network projects or natural gas connections.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Professional knowledge of the English language
- The candidate should be eligible to work in Greece and be fluent in the Greek language.
