POSITION SUMMARY
Provides comprehensive anesthesiology medical care, including anesthesia for cardiothoracic surgery, to all patients served by Hillsboro Medical Center. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes a team concept and reflects our values of Compassion, Collaboration, Excellence and Integrity.

About the Team:
- Our Anesthesiology team is growing; join a stable group that is expanding
- Enjoy a collegial, relaxed setting and excellent rapport with providers and staff in a Care Team Model
- Provide coverage at only one hospital site
- Nice variety of cases which include general surgery, neuro/backs, vascular, robot, ENT, GI, OB/GYN, opthalmology, urology, orthopedics, and NORA cases; no trauma or hearts
- Call is currently Q7
Required Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school with appropriate residency training
- Maintains Oregon licensure; accreditation to practice within realm of specialty
- Active staff membership in good standing with the medical staff of the hospital with all privileges and responsibilities accorded such membership
- Demonstrates skill in caring for specialty-related patients
- Uses effective communication skills to work with patients, families and co-workers in "simple” as well as in “difficult” situations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Bilingual skills a plus
