Kitchen Porter - Full Time 39 hours per week £12.71 per hour

As a Kitchen Porter, you will be essential in maintaining cleanliness and smooth operation in our back of house areas. Your tasks will include:

Operate pot-washing machinery and maintain a hygienic working environment in accordance with hygiene regulations and company standards
Carry out general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, washing up, emptying rubbish bins and boxes, and ensuring the bin area is clean and tidy
Ensure the accurate PPE is in place and guidelines are strictly adhered to
Observe COSHH guidelines when handling hazardous substances and align with all Health and Safety requirements
Report any maintenance or hazard issues to the supervisor on duty

Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A strong dedication to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
The capability to adhere to rigorous health and safety guidelines
Strong communication abilities and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a group
A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential

Qualifications

A Kitchen Porter is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

Ability to work under pressure
Ability to work on own or as part of a team
Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

• Previous kitchen experience in similar role
• Knowledge of Basic Food Hygiene
