Hippocratic AI needs a product owner who can translate what health plans / health systems and providers actually need — proven ROI, workflow fit, and regulatory / clinical trust — directly into the product, not just into a requirements doc. As Product Manager / Lead Product Manager, Payor / Provider Vertical, you'll own how HAI's platform proves and delivers value in the payor / provider market. You'll report to the Chief Product Officer, work alongside the parallel Provider / Payor vertical PM as HAI expands its go-to-market across both sides of healthcare, and partner closely with Engineering and the Provider GTM/Partnerships or payor-facing GTM team.
Define the vertical strategy
Identify and prioritize the high-value use cases ([e.g., Star Ratings improvement, prior authorization support, proactive care coordination — payor] / [e.g., provider workflow ROI, clinical throughput, patient experience — provider]) that anchor the long-term roadmap.
Set the vertical's north star metrics and translate them into a roadmap Engineering and clinical / operations teams can execute against.
Decide which segments / workflows to pursue first, based on what's actually blocking adoption and expansion today rather than a generic feature backlog.
Partner directly with customers
Serve as the primary product partner for payor executives / provider and health system stakeholders, translating regulatory constraints such as NCQA/HEDIS / clinical and operational requirements into product requirements.
Sit directly in customer conversations, representing product data and ROI yourself rather than relaying it secondhand.
Run discovery that surfaces the pain points worth solving, not just the ones customers raise first.
Drive execution with Engineering
Turn customer needs into crisp technical specs and work hand-in-hand with Engineering to ship them, making the sequencing calls when priorities conflict.
Partner with the clinical safety team to ensure every voice interaction meets Hippocratic AI's safety standards before it reaches members.
Own the transition of each use case from pilot to production, deciding when it's ready to scale.
Support go-to-market
Build the value propositions, ROI models, and case studies Sales and Marketing use to close deals.
Deepen HAI's product depth in this vertical and share that context with the parallel PM as GTM expands across both sides of the business.

7+ years of product management experience, including significant time inside the health insurance/payor ecosystem / health tech serving providers or health systems specifically — not adjacent enterprise SaaS.
Track record building product workflows tied to demonstrable ROI or value, not just shipping features.
Experience partnering directly with Engineering to ship product, not just writing requirements.
Comfort sitting directly in customer conversations and translating them into product decisions.
Bachelor's degree.
Working understanding of LLM and speech-to-text/text-to-speech capabilities and limitations.
Health tech PM experience in the counterpart vertical — useful breadth across both sides of HAI's go-to-market.
Experience presenting to both clinical/executive audiences (e.g., CMOs) and engineering audiences.
Prior experience in a founding or zero-to-one product role.
Experience at a health tech company already selling into health plans / health systems or providers.
