Inventory Control Specialist

Job Summary
Join the Hirsch Team – it’s not just a job, it’s a career! The Inventory Control Specialist will be based in Van Nuys and will assist with the general operations of the department and will be traveling to the Hirsch branches throughout Southern California to assist with daily inventory tasks. This individual will assist the branches with proper inventory methods, such as cycle counting, physical inventory, stock rotations, warehouse layout and special projects.

Job Requirements
• Experience in inventory control processes desired
• Strong analytical and planning skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Current valid California Driver’s License, reliable transportation and auto insurance
• Willingness to travel to all company locations
• Willing to work overtime and weekends
• Excellent attention to detail and a well-organized approach to database management.
• Proficiency in PC applications, including MS Word, PPT, Outlook and Excel.
• Experience using a computerized MRP or ERP system.
• Ability to write reports and correspondence.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50lb.
• Knowledge of basic mathematics
• Pass pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check
