Job Description:
Hitachi Rail is seeking an enthusiastic experienced and self-motivated Senior Construction Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, to oversee a prestigious metro and light rail TCUP (TRAIN CONTROL UPGRADE PROJECT). The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in San Francisco, California.
Accountabilities:
Attend the weekly customer meetings
Help customer understand the Hitachi TCUP strategy for construction design including:
Explaining best industry practices as it relates to electrical surveys, cable pulling, conduit fill issues
Lengths/types of access required to perform the pilot survey
Providing Context on the contract clauses that were identified as impractical for Hitachi Rail as generally falls under Installer scope.

In accordance with the DOT’s FRA and FTA programs, Hitachi’s substance screening program tests pre-employment candidates and current employees, as required for safety-sensitive positions.
The salary range for this position is $ $148,212 - $222,318 per year. Final pay is determined by the candidate’s experience, skillset and ability level, internal equity and location.
