    Step into a pivotal role where vigilance meets leadership. As a Security Lead, you’ll be the driving force behind a safe and secure environment, guiding your team with confidence and precision. From overseeing daily operations to responding swiftly to incidents, you’ll ensure that every corner of the workplace is protected. With your sharp instincts, strong leadership, and commitment to excellence, you’ll be the trusted guardian of people, property, and peace of mind.
    • Security – Routine patrol of premises for non guests. Reviewing security footage as necessary.
    • Training – Training of new security team members.
    • Scheduling – Scheduling of 24 hr shifts with team members.
    • Leading – Directing new procedures or answering questions from the security team.
    • Proficiency in the use of computer business applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
    • Minimum two years of experience in a supervisory position related to the security industry preferred.
    • Current valid driver’s license with three (3) years of clean driving record. (Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) will be requested).
    • Must pass a pre-employment background check.
    • Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available.
    • Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).
    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
    • Ability to organize work, meet deadlines, maintain attention to detail and accuracy, supervise and manage staff and guest requests/inquires.
    • Ability to clearly communicate, verbally and in writing, with all levels of employees, management, and customers.
    • Ability to work with all levels of management, employees and guests with sensitivity, tact, and diplomacy.
    • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
    • Demonstrate an ability to maintain confidentiality.
    • Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines including all company health and safety standards.
    • Ability to lift 50 lbs/23kgs. Some heavy lifting in a team environment may be required.
    • Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for minimum of 8 hours per day.
