Medical Assistant - Clinic

Location: Care Resources PACE – Lowell, MI

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (no weekends!)

What You’ll Do

• Answer phones and resolve or forward to nurse as needed
• Collect and record participant health data such as blood sugar logs, vital signs, and weights, including documentation in the EMR
• Perform basic wound care
• Obtain requested immunizations, labs, administer meds, TB skin tests, etc.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in office management or related field preferred)
• Current certification or registration as a Medical Assistant (required)
• At least 1 year of experience working in a clinic, physician office or emergency room; clinic management experience is highly valued
• Immunization experience preferred
• Strong computer and tech skills; ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Ability to manage multiple tasks comfortably while staying organized and professional
