About the role

We’re hiring a Retention Execution Specialist to support our Email and SMS Strategists by owning the execution of retention marketing campaigns in Klaviyo.

This is a mid-level, execution-focused role responsible for building campaigns, creating audience segments, performing QA, scheduling launches, troubleshooting issues, and helping keep campaign work moving across approximately 10 client accounts. You’ll work closely with strategists, designers, copywriters, and project managers to turn approved plans into accurate, on-time execution. You’ll also communicate directly with clients about campaign scheduling, review requests, audience confirmation, deployment timing, and minor execution updates.

This role reports to our Director, Email Strategy.

Responsibilities

• Execute email and SMS campaigns and flows from build through deployment in Klaviyo.
• Build campaigns inside modern lifecycle marketing platforms.
• Create customer segments using established audience logic and approved strategy.
• Schedule campaigns and flows according to marketing calendars and approved timelines.
• Upload approved creative from Figma into Klaviyo using internal tools.
• Prepare campaign assets for deployment and generate previews for internal review and client approval.
• Build recurring reports and support execution performance tracking.
• Ensure every campaign is delivered accurately and on schedule.
• Perform comprehensive QA before every campaign is scheduled and every flow goes live.
• Verify links, personalization, dynamic content, segmentation, UTMs, formatting, rendering, and scheduling.
• Troubleshoot implementation issues and resolve campaign blockers.
• Catch issues before they reach the client or go live.
• Maintain Homestead’s quality standards across every campaign.
• Partner closely with Retention Strategists, designers, copywriters, and project managers.
• Keep projects organized and moving toward launch across multiple active clients.
• Proactively communicate risks, blockers, and shifting priorities.
• Update project management systems and documentation.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding scheduling, review requests, audience confirmation, deployment timing, and minor execution updates.
• Balance multiple campaigns while maintaining speed and accuracy.
• Identify recurring execution issues and recommend practical improvements to workflows, QA processes, and documentation.
• Help improve team efficiency by standardizing repeatable execution steps where appropriate.
• Leverage AI and automation tools responsibly to improve efficiency and execution quality.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience working in email marketing, SMS marketing, lifecycle marketing, or marketing operations.
• Strong experience building campaigns, flows, audience segments, and QA processes in Klaviyo.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Able to work quickly without sacrificing accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Confident solving problems independently within defined processes and asking for help when needed.
• Comfortable working in structured systems while adapting to changing priorities.
• Experience using Asana, Slack, Google Workspace, and modern marketing platforms.
• Interested in using AI and automation to improve efficiency and execution quality.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting retention or lifecycle marketing programs for e-commerce brands.
• Experience working in an agency or multi-client delivery environment.
• Experience with high-volume Klaviyo execution, including building segments, automations, and flows.
• Experience improving workflows, templates, or QA processes in a production environment.
• Experience managing multiple brands or clients simultaneously.

Additional Information

This is a fully remote role. Candidates must be able to work standard business hours (9:00am–5:00pm) in ET, CT, MT, or PT time zones.
