The School of Creative Arts (SCA), comprised of three well-established academic units: the Academy of Film, the Academy of Music, and the Academy of Visual Arts. Established on July 1, 2022, SCA is dedicated to nurturing future-ready talents for Hong Kong and beyond, while making a significant impact on society through innovative research and transdisciplinary studies.

Responsibilities:

• Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Dean;
• Managing appointment schedules, calendars and diaries;
• Assist in staff recruitment and other human resources matters;
• Coordinating and arranging visits;
• Providing administrative support for School Board meetings, official functions, and events organised by the Office; and
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• A recognised degree with at least 7 years of relevant work experience, preferably in secretarial support, office administration, education or cultural sectors;
• A good command of English and Chinese;
• Possess strong sense of responsibility and service-oriented attitude;
• Good interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and under pressure;
• Literacy in computing applications is a must; and
• Experience in higher education is an advantage.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review and mutual agreement.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
