General
Summary:
Responsible for supporting the procurement and distribution of materials, tools, and equipment for the HVAC Department in Port Washington. Principal Accountabilities: Procurement of material, equipment, tools, and supplies for Jobsites. Procurement of rental tools and equipment for Jobsites. Research new material, tools, and equipment. Procure, compare, and evaluate quotes from suppliers. Review quality of purchased products.
Track material and review back-order reports to ensure materials are delivered on time. Work with Project Managers and Foreman to obtain special item requests. Work with Trucking Supervisor to schedule material and tool deliveries. Serves as backup to other Central Receiving positions as required with miscellaneous duties when directed. Maintains good communication and relationships with Fab Shop and Jobsite Foreman. Matches invoice packing slips.
Delivery Processing. Performs other duties/special projects as assigned.
