Hope Community Resources, Inc. is a non-profit disabilities service provider based in Anchorage, Alaska. Founded in 1968, our company provides services and supports to people of all ages and abilities who experience an intellectual, developmental, or other disability, traumatic brain injury, or mental health challenge.
As our On Demand Direct Support Professional, you will provide compassionate care helping support recipients meet their life goals. You may be assigned to work in the comfort of a support recipient's home or an assisted living site, or out in the community. Everyday we'll rely on you to teach activities of daily living to foster social independence. To thrive in this role, you should be passionate about helping people experiencing disabilities and comfortable with personal care. We'll teach you everything else you need to know.
Position Details
Must have a driver's license, reliable car, valid insurance, and be willing to transport clients to activities around town. We reimburse 75 cents per mile.
