Maintenance Purchasing Agent- Alma
The Purchasing Agent is responsible for the procurement of parts, equipment, and services needed to support the maintenance department in keeping the plant and facilities running smoothly. This role also oversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance storeroom, ensuring accurate inventory, efficient stock control, and well-coordinated storeroom staff. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can make sound purchasing decisions independently while balancing cost, quality, and delivery needs.

Working Conditions
This position requires the handling of parts and equipment up to 50 lbs., occasional use of forklifts and company vehicles, and time spent in a warehouse environment with occasional noise, dust, and temperature changes. The role operates with a good degree of independence and is expected to make purchasing decisions without requiring prior supervisor approval on routine matters.
